Georgia-Pacific Announces Agreement To Acquire Temple-Inland Building Products Assets

Georgia-Pacific today announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire the assets of the Temple-Inland Building Products business from International Paper Co. The purchase price is $750 million and the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals. The acquisition is anticipated to close in the first quarter of 2013.

Hönle acquires Grafix

Today, Dr. Hönle AG submitted a binding offer to the provisional insolvency administrator of Grafix GmbH with the aim of acquiring all significant non-current and current assets, including business premises at the Unterlüß (Celle) site and the activities of the insolvent Grafix GmbH. The agreed purchase price is in the lower, one-digit million range.
