Toyo Ink to Host Pantone LIVE Color Management Seminar at Tokyo Pack

Toyo Ink Co., Ltd. (President: Katsumi Yamazaki) announced today that it will be sponsoring a special seminar on the topic of “a global approach to color management that addresses today’s packaging needs and enhances brand value” at this week’s Tokyo Pack 2014, Asia’s largest packaging trade exhibition. Toyo Ink has partnered with X-Rite/Pantone to promote the use of Pantone LIVE, a cloud-based color management and color communication system, to the Japan market.

Agfa Graphics to present broad inks portfolio at The Inkjet Conference

At The Inkjet Conference in Düsseldorf, Germany (September 30 – October 01), the most important players in industrial inkjet engineering will meet to evaluate and discuss developments in industrial printing. The conference is an initiative of the European association for specialist printing manufacturers of screen, digital and flexo technology (ESMA). Agfa Graphics, ESMA member since early 2014, will present its expertise in developing inkjet inks targeted to specific applications as well as discuss ink integration in industrial applications.

Harland Simon Press Controls go live at PPG.

As part of the new press installation at Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Harland Simon was selected to provide press controls for the new Goss Uniliner which went into live production on Sunday 7th September. In collaboration with Goss and other 3rd party suppliers Harland Simon was on site to see the new press printing its first live production at the new facility in Pittsburgh, PA.
