Fujifilm unveils five new products

At Labelexpo Europe 2019 (stand 9A34, Brussels Expo, 24 – 27 September), Fujifilm is showcasing a range of new products designed to help label converters optimise their existing flexo presses, under the slogan Protect the planet and your profits. Consisting of enhancements to the companys water-washable flexo plate and processing systems, together with new LED UV curing and imprinting solutions, Fujifilm will be highlighting just how efficient and eco-friendly the production of high quality labels can be.

Dow, RB, and Drukpol.Flexo develop recyclable packaging for FINISH dishwasher detergents

A successful joint development between Dow, brand owner RB, and converter Drukpol.Flexo has led to the creation of a new resealable pouch designed for recyclability and end-of-life disposal into existing recycling streams. Using Dows polyethylene (PE) films, the stand- up pouch was designed for RBs FINISH perfume-free dishwasher detergent line.

Stora Enso establishes Forest division and reporting segment to increase transparency of forest assets

Stora Enso is hosting its Forest and Wood Products Day for investors in Stockholm tomorrow. The focus is on recently acquired Swedish forest assets and the establishment of a new Forest division. The Wood Products division will be also covered, including a visit to the newly inaugurated CLT (cross-laminated timber) mill in Gruvön. Stora Enso is now publishing an illustrative statement of income and operating capital for the new Forest division and the Groups capital expenditure forecast for 2020.
