Stora Enso is partnering with the Finnish pension insurance company Varma in the construction of a new head office in the centre of Helsinki. Stora Enso will lease part of the building, which will showcase world-class modern wooden architecture.

Stora Enso plans to make organisational changes in the Paper division following the Oulu Mill conversion at the end of 2020. The planned changes could result in a reduction of a maximum of 135 employees in the Paper division.

Memjet announces that John Ortiz has joined the company as vice president of inks and materials. In this role, Ortiz will guide the strategy, development, and manufacturing of inks used in the companys VersaPass, DuraLink, and DuraFlex technologies. Ortiz will also lead the development of inks and primers used in Memjets future technologies.
Miraclon, home of KODAK FLEXCEL Solutions, today officially opened its new flexo plate manufacturing line – Gemini – in Weatherford, Oklahoma, United States; two and a half years after breaking ground on the project in April 2017. Initially manufacturing flexographic plates for customers in the United States, Canada and Latin America, the new manufacturing line will enable the company to keep up with demand after seeing year-on-year double digit FLEXCEL NX plate volume growth for the past five years.
