E6 Ventures has agreed to participate in the next round of funding in Diamond Hard Surfaces Ltd. Set up in 2005 by its chief technical officer, Sergey Aleksandrov, Diamond Hard Surfaces is a high technology company that has developed a low temperature process to create thick amorphous diamond-like carbon coatings applicable in a broad range of wear-related applications in a number of industrial sectors.

Wintershall has obtained competition clearance for completion of offer to acquire Revus Energy ASA
Wintershall Holding AG today announces that Wintershall Norwegen Explorations- und Produktions-GmbH (“Wintershall”) has obtained the necessary clearance from the Norwegian Competition Authority for completion of its voluntary offer to acquire Revus Energy ASA stated in the Offer Document on 4 November 2008 and the regulatory clearance from the UK Department of Energy and Climate Change concerning the UKCS licences held by Revus Energy ASA and any of its subsidiaries.

International Paper Announces Indefinite Closure of its Louisiana Mill
International Paper today announced the indefinite closure of its Louisiana Mill in Bastrop. The decision to idle the 100 percent pulp mill operation is because of the continuing decline in pulp demand from its customers worldwide coupled with a weak economy across the globe.
