FUJIFILM Dimatix is pleased to announce that Rex-Tone Industries Ltd. has achieved Approved Ink status for its new solvent-based Aqua Tint “V” ink, acknowledging this Rex-Tone product will achieve high-quality results when used with FUJIFILM Dimatix Spectra brand S-Class, Nova, Galaxy and Skywalker printheads.

REACH: BASF submits 40,000 preregistrations

The European chemicals policy REACH came into force on June 2007. The first stage is now complete with the end of the preregistration phase on 1 December. BASF submitted some 40,000 preregistrations with the ECHA (European Chemicals Agency) in Helsinki by the deadline, making BASF one of the companies most affected by REACH.

BASF opens applications laboratory for pharmaceutical industry in India

BASF has opened an applications laboratory for pharmaceutical excipients and active ingredients in Mumbai, India. The aim is to move even closer to customers in the key markets of the Asia-Pacific region. The new laboratory will allow BASF to meet the requirements of the pharmaceutical industry for technical support more quickly.
