Siegwerk USA and Siegwerk Canada Announces Price Increase for all Packaging Inks and Coatings

Siegwerk USA and Siegwerk Canada will implement a 6-8% price increase on all packaging inks and coatings effective January 1, 2009. This announcement comes as a response to continued price increases from all aspects of the supply chain.

Tentative agreement reached between Catalyst and PPWC

The Pulp and Paper Workers of Canada (PPWC), Local No. 2 and Catalyst Paper announced today that a tentative agreement has been reached on the renewal of the collective agreement at the Crofton Division. The deal addresses the twin priorities of an $80 per tonne target in labour costs and the PPWC Industry Pattern Agreement.
