PRINTING United Digital Experience Unveiled

PRINTING United recently announced the decision to transition from an in-person event in Atlanta to a comprehensive digital platform. The show company today provides an update on its plans to present four power-packed weeks of hosted global programming and new product unveilings across PRINTING United Month this October, beginning October 5 and running through the week of October 26.

drupa starts in 2021 with shortened runtime: April 20-28

drupa, the worlds leading trade fair for printing technologies, has decided to reduce the duration of the trade fair from eleven to nine days for 2021. By doing so, it is responding to the wishes of the partner association VDMA (Printing and Paper Technology Trade Association) and many exhibitors to make the trade fair presentation more efficient and to concentrate the volume of visitors in a targeted manner. This is also in reaction to any continuing travel activities and restrictions.

Reorganisation at the top management level of WALSER GmbH & Co. KG

Since 23 June 2020 Marcus Häuptle has been supplementing the management of WALSER GmbH & Co. KG in Gersthofen near Augsburg. The 36-year-old has been appointed Commercial Managing Director and will take over responsibility for the areas of Finance, Controlling, Administration, Purchasing, Logistics, HR and IT with immediate effect. The founder and owner Niclas Walser will continue to work for WALSER GmbH & Co. KG and will focus on sales, product management and marketing.

Messe Frankfurt celebrates its 780th anniversary by getting back to business

On 11 July 1240, Emperor Frederick II granted trade fair rights to Frankfurt am Main, marking the birth of Messe Frankfurt. Now, 780 years later, the company can look back on an eventful history in which the Frankfurt trade fair developed from a medieval marketplace into a global player – experiencing many successes and mastering various crises.

Ready for Re-Start: Messe Düsseldorf draws up Hygiene and Infection Protection Concept

Here we go again: CARAVAN SALON Düsseldorf, the worlds leading trade fair for motorhomes and caravans, will mark the resumption of trade fair operations at the homebase in Düsseldorf from 4 to 13 September 2020. After the lockdown in spring it has been possible to hold trade fairs and congresses again subject to specific conditions in North Rhine-Westphalia since 31 May 2020. Other Düsseldorf events on the agenda for this year include the medical technology trade fairs MEDICA and COMPAMED (16 – 1911), the industrial fittings event VALVE WORLD EXPO (1 – 312) as well as the trade fair duo for wire, cable, pipes and tubes, wire and Tube (7 – 1112).

PRINTING United Transitioning to a Comprehensive Online Experience in 2020

PRINTING United, originally scheduled to take place at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta on October 21-23, 2020, will now move to a powerful online experience this fall due to constraints surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. The health and safety of all attending and involved with the show remains paramount. The decision to terminate the in-person expo comes after extensive conversations, up-to-the-minute surveys, and projections that the team has been navigating since the onset of the pandemic. Details regarding the new online event experience are forthcoming.
