BASF names Climate Protection Officer
Dr. Ulrich von Deessen (51) has been named the first Climate Protection Officer of BASF. As of May 1, 2008, he will also become the head of the global Competence Center Environment, Health and Safety as the successor of Ernst Schwanhold (59). Schwanhold will take over projects within BASF and will retire as of December 31, 2008.

About.com, one of the 15 most visited Web sites in the U.S., announced today that it has named two new vice presidents of sales. Tracy Raiser has joined About.com as vice president of sales, Central Region, and Chris Sanders has been appointed vice president of sales, Western Region.

Danaher Announces Quarterly Dividend
Danaher Corporation (NYSE:DHR) announced today that its Board of Directors has approved a regular quarterly dividend of $0.03 per share payable on April 25, 2008 to holders of record on March 28, 2008.
