Richard Sarnoff Appointed Co-Chairman of Bertelsmann, Inc. in New York

Hartmut Ostrowski, Chairman and CEO of Bertelsmann AG and Chairman of its US holding company Bertelsmann, Inc., announced today that Richard Sarnoff, President of Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments and a member of the Supervisory Board of Bertelsmann AG, will take on the additional role of Co-Chairman of Bertelsmann, Inc., reporting to Bertelsmann CFO Thomas Rabe, effective immediately.
