DuPont Innovation Center Goes Solar

The completed renovation project of the Innovation Center at the DuPont Experimental Station in Wilmington, Del., in mid-2008, included the installation of a solar energy system which was funded in part by the State of Delaware’s Green Energy Program.

Staples, Inc. Announces Pricing of Senior Notes Offering

Staples, Inc. (Nasdaq: SPLS) announced today that it has priced a previously announced public offering of $1.5 billion of its senior notes, at 9.75 percent coupon, due 2014. The offering is expected to close on January 15, 2009, subject to customary closing conditions.

Mecom sells its German operations for €152.0 million

The  Board  of  Mecom  Group  plc  (“Mecom”  or  the  “Group”)  announces  that  it  has  entered  into  an  agreement  to  dispose  all  of  its  German  operations  (the  “Business”  or  “Mecom  Germany”)  to  M.  DuMont  Schauberg  f or  a  cash  consideration  of  €152.0  million  (approximately  £135  million).  The  disposal  is expected to complete in the first quarter of  2009.
