Ball Corporation Prices $700 Million in Aggregate Principal Amount of Senior Notes

Ball Corporation (NYSE:BLL) announced today that it priced an underwritten public offering of $375 million in aggregate principal amount of 7.125 percent senior notes due 2016 and $325 million in aggregate principal amount of 7.375 percent senior notes due 2019, for a total of $700 million in aggregate principal amount, $50 million more than previously announced. The offering is expected to close on Aug. 20, 2009, subject to market conditions and other factors.

Neenah Paper Reports 2009 Second Quarter Results

Neenah Paper, Inc. (NYSE:NP) today reported a loss from continuing operations for second quarter 2009 of $8.6 million, or $0.58 per diluted common share. Results included restructuring charges (net of tax) of $11.6 million, or $0.79 per share, for the previously announced closure of the company’s fine paper mill in Ripon, California.
