MITSUBISHI RAYON SIGNS LETTER OF INTENT FOR 50:50 JOINT VENTURE WITH SABIC
Mitsubishi Rayon Co., Ltd. (MRC) has signed a letter of intent on August 10 with Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) on the establishment of a 50:50 joint venture to produce Methyl methacrylate monomer (MMA) and Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

JAMES M. KOTEK NAMED PRESIDENT AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF MENASHA CORPORATION
The Board of Directors of Menasha Corporation today announced the appointment of James M. Kotek to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer. Kotek, 49, has been President of ORBIS Corporation, the companys second largest operating division, since 2004. The promotion is effective immediately and Kotek will join the companys Board of Directors.

FP Newspapers Income Fund (TSX:FP.UN) announces financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2009. FP Newspapers Income Fund owns securities entitling it to 49 percent of the distributable cash of FP Canadian Newspapers Limited Partnership (“FPLP”), which owns the Winnipeg Free Press and Brandon Sun daily newspapers, and Canstar Community News Limited (“Canstar”), which operates six weekly newspapers, a weekly entertainment newspaper and a twice-monthly newspaper aimed at age 50-plus readers in the Winnipeg area, as well as delivery businesses in Winnipeg and Thunder Bay.
