Schibsted ASA (SCH) – Schibsted increases its stake in InfoJobs to 98.5 %

Schibsted has entered into an agreement to acquire its Spanish partner Primerama’s shares in InfoJobs, the clear market leading online recruitment portal in Spain and the leader in Italy. After the transaction Schibsted will be the direct owner of 98.5 % of InfoJobs, compared with the former indirect exposure of 75.2 %. Schibsted also gets the control over 73 % of InfoJobs Italy, compared with the former exposure of 56 %.

Stora Enso and Arauco conclude acquisition of the majority of Grupo Ence’s operations in Uruguay ahead of schedule

Stora Enso and Arauco have completed the acquisition of the majority of Grupo ENCE’s operations in Uruguay announced on 18 May 2009. The joint acquisition on a 50/50 basis includes approximately 130 000 hectares of owned land and plantations, 6 000 hectares of leased lands and other operations owned by Grupo ENCE in the central and western areas of Uruguay. As previously announced, the enterprise value of the transaction, which was completed ahead of the original target of the end of 2009, was USD 344 (EUR 253) million, including USD 33 million of assumed debt. Stora Enso’s share of the enterprise value is 50%.

Boise Inc. Announces Proposed $300 Million Debt Offering

Boise Inc. (NYSE:BZ), a leading manufacturer of packaging products and papers, announced today that Boise Paper Holdings, L.L.C. (“Boise Paper Holdings”) and Boise Finance Company, wholly owned subsidiaries of Boise Inc. (“Boise”), are proposing to jointly issue $300 million aggregate principal amount of senior unsecured notes due 2017 (the “Notes”) in a private offering that is exempt from the registration requirements of the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “Securities Act”).
