Cal Poly Student Graduate Honored at TAGA Conference for Design of New Logo

The Technical Association of the Graphic Arts (TAGA) is known for nurturing and ushering in the future of print technology. As technology has progressed, the association evolved and soon the logo that adorned TAGA publications was dusty and out of date. TAGA focuses not only on graphic arts systems, software, and computer technology developments, but on the more traditional areas of press, ink, and paper engineering applications and needed a logo to reflect that.

YOSHIHARU KOMORI TAKES ON THE MANTLE OF GLOBAL PRINT PRESIDENCY

Global Print, the federation that brings together a global constituency of printing industry members, including Picon, chose Ipex as the international event at which to announce Yoshiharu Komori as its new president, who takes over the reins from outgoing president Hank Brandtjen of Brandtjen & Kluge. Kai Büntemeyer, who is managing partner at Kolbus in Germany, carries on as vice-president.

Affiliated Computer Services (ACS), A Xerox Company (NYSE: XRX), today announced a definitive agreement to acquire ExcellerateHRO, LLP (EHRO), a global benefits administration and relocation services provider, from Hewlett-Packard Company. The transaction is expected to close following the conclusion of the customary closing conditions.
