The 2016 Fespa Digital exhibition just ended and Ritrama – Italian leading manufacturer of self-adhesive materials in Europe and Worldwide with 23 facilities throughout the world – recorded a high number of visitors, proof that the Visual Communication market is discovering new vigor and a growing attention to all the solutions capable of promptly answering specific needs of application requirements. A keen interest was shown to the Application Wall, an interactive wall present on the stand on which customers had the chance to test and experience first-hand the latest novelties presented by the company.

Lake Image Systems Partners with Ross Manufacturing and HERMA to Produce an Integrated Labelling Machine with Automated In-Line Inspection

Lake Image Systems Ltd., in partnership with Swindon based Ross Manufacturing Ltd. and self-adhesive technology specialist, HERMA, is pleased to announce that they have developed a unique, integrated labelling machine which combines a highly flexible label transport system, a high speed label applicator and an automated in-line inspection system. The labelling machine has been successfully installed and commissioned at a major security printer to automate the production and inspection of secure labels.

Hauke Berndt and Markus Feldenkirchen take over from Norbert Ohl

After twenty years as managing director of the Hamburg-based software company ppi Media, Norbert Ohl is to hand over to his successors Hauke Berndt and Markus Feldenkirchen on July 1, 2016. Together with Jan Kasten, the new members of the management board will continue to expand into new business areas and markets. Norbert Ohl will act as a consultant to ppi Media for one year after stepping down.

FESPA announces North German location for Global Expo 2017

FESPA has announced that its Global Expo, FESPA 2017, will take place over five days from 8 – 12 May 2017 at the Hamburg Messe, Germany. The event will cover 10 halls at the exhibition centre, and as well as being a screen and digital exhibition it will encompass FESPA Textile, European Sign Expo and Printeriors.
