Solimar Systems, Compu-Mail, LLC, and Hansen360 Win the CXMPA 2026 Solution of the Year
Wednesday 16. September 2026 - Solimar Systems, Inc. announced that its joint implementation with Compu-Mail, LLC and Hansen360 has received the Solution of the Year, Honorable Mention, category of the 2026 CXMPA Industry Awards. The cXm Professionals Association (CXMPA) announced the recipients on September 8, recognizing technologies and real-world implementations that deliver measurable operational impact across print, mail, and customer communications.
The recognized project, “Going 6×9: The Intelligent & AI Way,” consolidated over 40 Compu-Mail applications into a single, repeatable production process. By combining a machine-learning model for envelope window inspection with Solimar Rubika post-composition workflows, the team standardized operations on a single 6″x9″ large-window envelope while ensuring customer privacy at scale.
One envelope, one process, no compromise on privacy
Compu-Mail previously used both #10 and 6″x9″ envelopes for various applications. Moving to a single 6″x9″ format provided operational benefits, including simplified inventory, fewer equipment changes, faster setup, and easier onboarding. However, the larger window increased the risk of exposing sensitive data in documents designed for #10 envelopes. Manual privacy validation at production scale is impractical, leading many operations to maintain two envelope formats.
Hansen360 addressed this challenge by implementing an AI model that scans documents and flags pages where sensitive content may appear in the window area. If a potential exposure is detected, a Rubika workflow automatically generates a controlled address slip, relocating the address to an insert page so only appropriate information is visible. This solution required no application redesign or code changes. The approach reduced production variables, simplified onboarding, and demonstrated a practical use of AI in a live print-and-mail environment.
“Going to a 6×9 with a single window sounds like a simple change in envelope size, but in secure mail, a change that looks small can affect the entire production process, and personal information might appear in the large envelope window,” said Anthony Marchioni, President, Compu-Mail, LLC. “But combining the power of the Solimar Chemistry software platform and Hansen360 workflow integration expertise, we successfully implemented this secure solution in a very short period of time, and the benefits are recognized throughout our operations.”
“We seek out commonality to create workflows that maximize throughput,” said Hansen Longfellow, President, Hansen360. “Forty-plus applications became one repeatable process. We are thrilled with the success Compu-Mail, LLC has gained and look forward to their continued success We are very grateful to win this industry award with an outstanding customer, Compu-Mail, and our partners Solimar Systems and RISO.”
“We’re thrilled to be recognized by CXMPA with the 2026 Solution of the Year, Honorable Mention, and grateful for what this project has delivered for Compu-Mail,” said Mary Ann Rowan, Chief Experience Officer, Solimar Systems. “Anthony and his team trusted Hansen360 and us to solve this process the right way: AI finds the exposure, Rubika fixes it, and every new application follows the same path. Anthony is a great customer with an outstanding team, and a valued member of our Customer Advisory Council. It means a great deal to accomplish this together with Compu-Mail, LLC, RISO and Hansen360.”
Compounding results
Compu-Mail, LLC is now standardized on 6″ x9″ envelopes. All jobs use one envelope format, enabling higher inserter throughput, faster mail delivery, and focused quality control on AI-flagged pages. New applications that previously required weeks of manual setup are now onboarded routinely. The AI and Rubika solution apply to every new application, offering a repeatable operational blueprint instead of a one-time fix.
Rubika is a core component of the Solimar Chemistry Platform, which integrates preflight, optimization, post-composition, tracking, and delivery into a coordinated workflow. Solimar’s ReadyPDF optimizes and normalizes PDFs prior to Rubika processing. Once the AI and Rubika pairing was validated on one application, it’s simple to extend and edit the configuration template to add new jobs.
