Graph-Tech USA to Showcase New eZ-Inkjet 65x at Loupe Americas
Wednesday 02. September 2026 - Graph-Tech USA (GTUS) will showcase its new eZ-Inkjet 65x industrial inkjet printer at Lpupe Americas 2026 in Chicago, September 1517. At Booth 6133, visitors will see the new printer printing tags on the RFIDRunner, demonstrating high-speed digital printing combined with RFID encoding and verification.
The new eZ-Inkjet 65x is a fast and versatile DOD inkjet printer that builds on the proven success of the eZ-Inkjet 54, a flagship product in the GTUS portfolio with hundreds of systems installed worldwide across card manufacturing, labeling, mailing, and variable-data applications.
A key advancement of the eZ-Inkjet 65x is ink recirculation directly at the nozzle, helping improve jet stability, reduce maintenance, and support longer uninterrupted production runs. The system supports both UV-curable and water-based inks and can jet downward, sideways, or upward, providing flexibility for integration into industrial production lines. At 600 dpi and one drop, the system can reach speeds of up to 758 fpm (231 m/min).
The eZ-Inkjet 65x is compatible with GTUS’s new eZ-Editor and can also be integrated with the GTUS Controller, which runs on Windows 11 and incorporates SuperTracker technology.
“With the new eZ-Inkjet 65x, we have taken a proven industrial platform and introduced significant advances in printhead technology, including more than double the firing frequency, from 45 kHz to over 90 kHz, and a 20% wider print swath, from 54 mm to 65 mm,” said Markus Portmann, President of Graph-Tech USA. “This represents an important step forward for GTUS in providing our customers greater productivity and flexibility while maintaining the reliability and print quality they expect.
“The eZ-Inkjet 65x also provides an alternative for customers looking to replace legacy high-speed inkjet systems, while offering the benefits of modern piezo drop-on-demand technology.”
The live demonstration on the RFIDRunner will highlight the eZ-Inkjet 65x’s capabilities for RFID tag production. The RFIDRunner incorporates a triple-Impinj architecture with dedicated modules for TID identification, encoding, and multiple quality and data verification checks, helping ensure data integrity on every tag while minimizing waste and consumable usage. Together, the technologies demonstrate GTUS’s approach to combining high-speed digital printing with reliable RFID processing to enable efficient variable-data production.
Graph-Tech USA will also demonstrate its LabelRunner digital imprinting system for labels and booklets based on the Rosas Maschinenbau Gazelle II platform and integrated with its eZ-Colorjet industrial inkjet printer. Designed for industrial-level UV label printing, LabelRunner addresses the growing demand for the productivity, substrate flexibility, and durability of UV inkjet technology at an affordable price point.
