Enfocus enjoys legendary showing at EDP Awards as Griffin scoops prestigious software trophy

Wednesday 27. May 2026 - Affordable, flexible automation expert Enfocus earned a big win at the European Digital Press (EDP) Awards, with its Griffin software taking home the prestigious prize in the Software (Automation Solution) category.

The Enfocus team picked up the trophy in front of the printing world in a special ceremony held at FESPA Barcelona, cementing Griffin’s place as the best-in-class nesting software for wide format printers. Griffin wowed the EDP judges with its awesome power and extensive list of features, including a User Unit feature that enables users to import artwork at the correct real-world scale.

The awards shine a spotlight on examples of excellence in the digital printing sector, with the Software (Automation Solution) category celebrating products that make a measurable, real-world difference to print businesses.

John Murphy, Griffin Product Manager at Enfocus was delighted following the win, saying, “Enfocus Griffin is a solution made to solve the problems printers have today. It excels in jobs that mix multiple SKUs, sizes, and shapes, supporting printers who need to juggle increased file complexity with increasing material costs and decreasing delivery times. Every sign, retail display, exhibition graphic, and window decal costs more to produce than it ever has. And Griffin is the answer.

“We’re continually updating Griffin, working every day to make sure it’s even smarter, faster, and better with every patch. We don’t just want Griffin to be the best wide format nesting powerhouse today; we want it to be the best tomorrow and the day after. Knowing we’re making life simpler and more profitable for printers across the world is rewarding enough, but it’s still nice to win a trophy for it!”

Launched in 2023, Griffin has quickly become popular in wide format and signage printing due to its intuitive design. It automatically arranges complex shapes in a file to maximise substrate usage and minimise waste on roll-fed and flatbed digital printers. It can reduce waste by up to 50%, increase job preparation speed by up to 3x, and reduce human errors through automation.
