Graph-Tech USA to Host Open House

Monday 30. March 2026 - Graph-Tech USA (GTUS) will host an exclusive two-day open house on April 2223, 2026, at its facility in Ft. Pierce, Florida, offering attendees a firsthand look at the latest advancements in secure gift card production, digital printing, and integrated workflow solutions.

Taking place from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day, the event will feature live demonstrations, expert insights, and opportunities for personalized consultations with Graph-Tech USA’s technical team.

A key highlight of the open house will be live demonstrations of digital watermark technology, presented in collaboration with Digimarc Corporation. This innovative solution embeds an imperceptible, data-rich watermark directly into card designs, creating a tamper-detecting system that enhances gift card security.

The technology offers several advantages, including preventing altered cards from activating at checkout, compatibility with existing point-of-sale scanners, and eliminating traditional packaging-based security measures. Attendees will see how Digimarc’s digital watermarks are produced using Graph-Tech USA’s high-precision inkjet systems, ensuring the consistency and speed required for real-world production environments.

At the upcoming ICMA Card Manufacturing & Personalization EXPO in Orlando, Florida, held April 19-22, William Strater, Vice President of Business Development at Graph-Tech USA, alongside Digimarc Corporation, will present “Defeating Gift Card Fraud” at 10:40 a.m. on April 21. The session will explore how the two companies are enabling secure, next-generation gift cards using digital watermark technology that integrates seamlessly with existing personalization systems.

Attendees of the ICMA EXPO are encouraged to extend their visit to Florida to attend Graph-Tech USA’s Open House and experience this technology firsthand. The Graph-Tech USA facility is located approximately 1.75 hours from the event venue.

In addition to digital watermarking, the open house will feature demonstrations of Graph-Tech USA’s EMVRUNNER system, eZ-Inkjet industrial inkjet printing solutions, and advanced variable-data and security-printing workflows.

“This open house event offers a unique opportunity to explore the future of gift card security, along with demonstrations of our latest inkjet printing solutions,” said William Strater, Vice President of Business Development at Graph-Tech USA. “By shifting fraud prevention from detection to prevention at the point of sale, digital watermarking is redefining how the industry protects both consumers and brands.”

Participants are encouraged to reserve their spot in advance.
