Antigro Designer Brings Interactive Personalisation to Life Across Japan

Monday 07. July 2025 - Antigro Designers flagship Sticker Builder and Print Customiser solutions are making an impact in Japan, driving a series of interactive installations and live customisation experiences across cultural festivals, tech exhibitions, and industry trade events.

Kinugasa Art Village Festival – Kyoto
During the Kyoto art festival, an interactive installation powered by Sticker Builder invited visitors to design their own graphics, which were then printed on-site and added to a growing collective exhibition. A key feature of the project allowed participants to create custom stickers that blended their own portraits with the image of Minamoto no Yorimitsu from the Shutendōji picture scroll, restored by the Ritsumeikan University Art Research Center.
The project seamlessly merged digital creativity with a tangible, hands-on experience, drawing the attention of both artists and the public.
From Hamamatsu to Space – an event by Suzuki and Roland DG
At an event organised by Suzuki and Roland DG, Antigro Designer served as the personalisation technology provider, during which participants created and printed their own space-themed stickers inspired by the concept of a space journey in a Suzuki Jimny. These engaging interactions were made possible by the Sticker Builder Tool.
During the event, participants used their smartphones to scan a QR code that led them to a webpage with three sticker options. After selecting the Astronaut Sticker, they customised the template in Sticker Builder by uploading a photo, often a selfie or a pet’s face, which was automatically cut out and integrated into the design, with options to add filters and personalised text.
Print Innovation Summit 2025
At Print Innovation Summit 2025, organised by Selcam, Antigro’s technology powered real-time product customisation alongside Inkcups printing hardware. The Antigro Designer Print Customiser enabled attendees to explore the process of creating personalised items such as the Adventure Tumbler, Chill Wine Tumbler, Lunchbox, and Paper Bag, which were then printed using Inkcups devices.
Demonstrations highlighted seamless integration between intuitive web-based design and industrial printing, emphasising efficiency, scalability, and streamlined digital-to-print workflows.
