Textile Printing

The latest generation equipment for textile printing will be exposed at PRINT&SIGN 2017

Monday 28. November 2016 - Textile digital print industry will double its size by 2021, shows the latest report of market research company Smithers Pira who forecasts a medium annual growth of 12.3%. At market levels this means sales of euro 2.4 billion compared to euro 1.2 billion at present.

SmithersÂ’ specialists go even further with their forecast and believe the fabric volumes will have a more rapid increase than the market itself due to ink jet printing technology. If at present 870 million sqm of fabric are printed annually, in 2021 the volume could reach almost 2 billion sqm.

Thus, the new trends indicate a huge opportunity for the companies activating in digital printing industry who wish to enter textile market, buy machines and materials from specialised suppliers.

At PRINT&SIGN 2017, Geko Company, authorized distributor for Romanian market for MIMAKI equipment will present a new range of printing equipment for textile: two TX300 models as well as the economic version of Printer Belt (which will be launched on Romanian market next month).
