TIGER TIGITAL: The Next Level in Industrial Digital Printing

Friday 23. October 2015 - TIGER Coatings, a specialist for industrial printing, is set to introduce the next level of its industrial digital printing solutions at InPrint 2015.

Alongside printing solutions that provide a particularly high level of durability, customised solutions for industrial implementation processes will also be on display. One-piece flow, mass customisation, flexible production, Industry 4.0, freedom-of-design, branding… all of these keywords are becoming more and more important in the transformation process from analog to digital in industry.
Based on technological advances in recent years, digital print enables users to offer cost-efficient personalisation in mass markets and to derive hidden cost savings from analog technology. This will be underscored by three implemented case studies – digitally finished kitchen surfaces, digitally customised concrete tiles and digitally printed laminate floors.

Direct digital printing
“Our focus is on direct digital printing on a wide range of substrates,” says Anton Frauscher, Sales Manager at TIGER. “By eliminating substrate materials, we can reduce the number of process steps and greatly improve the potential of digital print to optimise the production process.”
The major benefit of digital print technology is flexibility in production, individualized market development and the ability to finish even small batches cost effectively. “Users can respond on demand to trends – with unlimited design options for colors and patterns,” adds Anton Frauscher. “This not only generates cost advantages, e.g. for warehousing, but also provides a technological springboard out of reproducibility.”
