RISO UK to unveil world first at The Print Show
Monday 28. September 2015 - Industry heavyweight will unveil its A2 Digital Duplicator at the event, a totally unique piece of printing technology designed to meet customer demand
Tatsuo Murakami, managing director of RISO UK, has stated that The Print Show will see the unveiling of its ‘world first’ A2 Digital Duplicator, among a raft of other technology. He has also called on other companies exhibiting at the show to work together in order to showcase the continuing power of print in the modern world.
“The event should promote not only the companies and products involved, but also raise awareness of the industry as a whole,” Murakami said. “At a time when the general public may believe print is fading, it’s time to show that, actually, print is evolvingparticularly inkjetand is as important in communications as it ever was.
“Whether it’s innovative inkjet solutions like those from RISO, or more traditional print, the show must help to enhance the perception. In addition, shows like this are where people can do business.
“With the right people in attendance, and with the right products, conversations can start. It might not be that deals are done there and then, but it will be that seeds of future deals can be sown.”
Making plans
With this in mind, Murakami outlined RISO UK’s plans for the event, explaining that visitors will have the opportunity to not only view the company’s A2 Digital Duplicator, but also it 150ppm ComColor 9150 and high-capacity feederit is the world’s fastest cut-sheet inket printer. Its stand will also feature a ComColor 7150 paired with the Wrapping Envelope accessory, and a 7150 linked with the DigiFeed solution.
“All of our unique products are designed to improve efficiency in a cost-effective manner that, quite simply, gives people more opportunitiesopportunities to print more, print in colour, and save money,” Murakami said. “They also encourage people to think about how they print, and what they could be doing, perhaps in opening up new revenue streams.
“We know people will see some competent devices at The Print Show but when they see the RISO solutions, they will see how they could truly be harnessing the power of inkjet print.”
Market Evolution
The print technology heavyweight has backed this year’s debut edition of The Print Show to not only raise awareness of its technology, but also to showcase how print is continuously evolving to meet the needs of the modern market. Murakami has added that it is important for the company to be at the forefront of the industry, and events such as The Print Show will allow the brand to do just that.
Taking place at the NEC in Birmingham from October 13th to 15th, The Print Show will allow visitors to get up close and personal with the latest technology on offer from some of the industry’s major brands, as well as explore opportunities for new business in other sectors. With a host of major manufacturers and more than 100 exhibitors having signed up to exhibit at the event, the show is shaping up to be one of the most exciting national exhibitions in the UK for many years.
“RISO is proud to have been one of the first major print industry companies to sign up to exhibit at The Print Show. Why? Because it’s important for us to be at the forefront of what’s new in the print industry,” Murakami said.
He concluded: “There are many opportunities for the right technologies in the UK print industry and a UK-focused event that showcases the potential of print is important not just for the industry, but also because it sends out a powerful message to the wider economy. Exhibiting unique RISO products at the show was a no-brainer.”
