Folex has successful Fespa

Thursday 02. July 2015 - At FESPA in Cologne, Folex presented its media assortment for large format printers, digital presses und Input Systems. Today the Print On portfolio includes over 150 different products for a variety of printer technologies and various applications and continues to innovate.

DIGITAL PRINTING
The special visitor interest was the impressive performance of the different materials for Memjet
that have been presented on a vortex printer on the stand. The newly developed nanoporous
coating can be applied to a number of different substrate types including PET, PP, vinyl, etc. The
first product will be SIVN a white glossy permanent self-adhesive vinyl, inks dry instantly and are
water resistant.
In the area of self-adhesive media, three new films were presented. SIGUV ñ a highly transparent
PET film with crystal clear water-resistant adhesive for window graphics, suitable for UV inks. In
the Tack range two PP films were presented with a textured surface, Tack S WO for solvent inks
and Tack P WO for waterbased inks. These films are free of adhesives and can be removed and
re-applied to many different surfaces and are residue-free.
The canvas varieties SI 153 and SI 157 for waterbased inks or SI 453 and SI 457 for solvent area now have an enhanced
flexible coating and improved base, offering a truly professional finish for lifestyle and artist prints.
ANOTHER HIGHLIGHT FOR THE VISITOR:
Folex showed a new, lower-cost version in the Reprojet series, RPJ-LT. It is the perfect complement to the existing portfolio
of Reprojet P HD, HDM and ES.
FILMS FOR INPUT SYSTEMS
During the FESPA 2015 show in Cologne, Folex presented again this year some innovations in the field of films for input systems.
Leading the way were films suitable for outdoor applications (GO-MA, GO-FT, GO-AR NEW QUALITY, GO-AG DES).
Folex offers films for screen printing as well as for the digital process. In this context a project was demonstrated with the
established matt GO-MA product in the field of industrial digital printing. In co-operation with the companies Thieme and
Mankiewicz an ideal combination of film, machine concept and ink has been developed. Also GO-FT was shown, which will
be available in a new width of 122 cm and is applicable also for outdoor usage due to its newly implemented UV protection.
Within the arena of INNOVATIONS lively interest was created on its latest developments in the area of conductively coated
film for input systems. The EL-film, latest generation offers a conductivity of 110 Ohm/ square. Main field of application is in
the area of input systems, electromagnetic compatibility, sensors, lighting and others.
