Thursday 18. September 2014 - Tecco shows Photographers and Artists how to Amplify their rt Work with a high-value creation of exclusive Photo Books
»AMP YOUR IMAGE« – Amplifying the Image Statement with Special Papers, extraordinary Formats and high quality Photo Books: TECCO:BOOKs
Tecco, innovation leader and trend setter in the market for photo, fine art, proofing and lfp media, invites -according to their this year´s Photokina slogan: »Amp Your Image«, together with their partners EFI and Digital Information – to Photokina 2014 (Cologne, September 16th to 21st) to their gallery in Hall 4.1, Booth number F037.
In this year visitors are welcomed by »Little People from Cologne«, a series from Michael Claushallmann, printed on Tecco´s bright white fine art paper Bright White Rag (BWR300). This series is a partial exhibition of the artist. Further art work can be seen at the exhibition of Freelens in »The New Yorker« – HARBOUR CLUB, Köln-Mülheimer Strasse 165 in Cologne.
The image statement is amplyfied by the choice of the appropriate paper (Tecco offers around 30 different papers in this photo sortiment) and by the correct choice and composition of photos in a book. In opposition to printing single photos, when printing a book the composition makes an essential difference, here again also choosing the correct paper is important to gain an amplifying impression (Amp Your Image).
At this Photokina Tecco gives their TECCO:BOOKs full attention: 13 TECCO:BOOKs from different artists in different sizes with different topics and representations are shown, amongst others from Susanne Stemmer, Roman Keller, Götz Schleser, Raffaele Celentano, Joachim Rieger and Barbara Dombrowski.
Götz Schleser from Berlin will be at the Tecco booth on Wednesday, September 17th. By featuring him and his book »Politician Portraits« Tecco emphasizes Hermann Will´s campagne »Activate Your Megapixels Print!« of the magazine FineArtPrinter. On the booth of FineArtPrinter (hall 9, booth number C21) Tecco will present their papers and photo books on Wednesday and Thursday.
Another possibility to increase the image statement is the choiche of the format. Tecco´s drylab sortiment and e.g. the new Epson Surelab D700 allow to perfectly use the whole scope of design. Normal photo formats, individual panorama views or a square, borderless or with a self-defined variable white border – all this is possible. On this Photokina booth Tecco focusses on their silk raster paper (SP250 Silk Portrait), one of the most popular portrait papers in the minilab area.
