Friday 09. May 2014 - In 1783, the Montgolfier brothers demonstrated their new invention, the hot air balloon, for Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette by launching and recovering a duck, rooster and sheep. A couple of hundred years later, the Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino decided to construct a replica of Montgolfier's balloon for their marquee sign.

This exciting Las Vegas landmark was fabricated using 120 individual MMT panels attached to a frame, with two large MMT backlight images on the balloon’s basket.
