WORTH HIGGINS & ASSOCIATES AQUIRES PETREE PRESS
Monday 07. April 2014 - Richmond commercial printer Worth Higgins & Associates announced today the acquisition of Petree Press in Sterling, Virginia.
Founders Noel and Karen Petree will remain with the firm, managing sales and operations as a division of Worth Higgins & Associates in their Sterling, Virginia location.
Since its founding in 1986, Petree Press has attracted a steadfast and diverse clientele from small businesses and non-profits to large corporations who trust them for their marketing and communication needs.
“We felt the need to grow and offer our clients, who have been so loyal, more capabilities and expanded services. We sought out a partner with a business philosophy, culture and dedication to customer experience that is aligned with our own who would help us build on what we started nearly 30 years ago. Worth Higgins & Associates is that partner,” said Noel Petree.
“Our goal is to have a self-reliant presence in northern Virginia that would help us expand our reach in that market and funnel business into our Richmond plant as well,” said Worth Higgins & Associates president Benny Bowman. “We believe there is valuable equity in the Petree Press name and reputation.”
Employee owned Worth Higgins & Associates is Virginia’s largest sheet fed commercial printer and a full service provider of marketing communication services since 1970. The company’s six divisions offer conventional and digital printing,
e-commerce, wide format imaging, mailing, warehousing and fulfillment, promotional products and letterpress printing.
Petree Press specializes in small format offset and digital printing, mailing and fulfillment.
