MCOR TECHNOLOGIES CEO TO DETAIL PROFOUND IMPACT OF 3D PRINTING AND PATH TO ACCESSIBILITY AT THE 2014 3D PRINTSHOW NEW YORK

Thursday 20. February 2014 - Mcor Technologies Ltd, manufacturer of the only line of desktop paper 3D printers in the world and winner of the coveted 2013 Brand of the Year Award, announced today that company co-founder and CEO Dr. MacCormack will outline what the industry must do in order to achieve mass consumer adoption of 3D printing as keynote speaker at the highly acclaimed 3D printing conference and expo.

MacCormack’s company, Mcor Technologies Ltd, makes the only 3D printers that use ordinary sheets of paper as the build material and can print simultaneously in more than one million colors.
Dr. MacCormack will deliver a presentation titled, Makers vs. Users: Providing Users Access to Professional 3D Printing Through Retail, Thursday, February 13, 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. in New York City’s Metropolitan Pavilion, Cone Room. Not only does Dr. MacCormack believe that the hype of 3D printing is warranted, he can articulate, in great detail, the technology path that will logically transform the hype into reality. “That, however, does not mean the future of 3D printing is completely mapped out,” he says. “As consumers seize hold of the technology, they will become the industry’s chief innovators. It will be exciting to see where they take us.”
Dr. MacCormack will also deliver the opening address at the event’s NY Elite Business Conference on February 13 at 9:00 a.m.,
Mcor received the Brand of the Year Award at the 3D Printshow in London and announced a breakthrough consumer 3D printing service with Staples. Most recently, Adobe announced a new color 3D printing capability available to their Photoshop CC customers with the Mcor IRIS full color 3D printer.
In addition, an exclusive full color 3D printed headpiece called, Mech-ganical Prosthetic Life Form, created by designer Steven Ascensão will be included in 3D Printshow’s Live Catwalk Show, Wednesday, February 12, 8:00 p.m.
