2014 PODi AppForum Conference Issues Call for Speakers

Monday 23. September 2013 - AppForum speakers address & connect with fellow innovators to drive inspiring results

PODi, the Digital Printing Initiative, has opened submissions for qualified speakers who wish to participate in the 13th annual AppForum conference for digital printing and relevant direct marketing. AppForum, being held March 31 – April 2, 2014 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, is the top destination for hundreds of successful printers, mailers, direct marketers and marketing service providers. AppForum is where leaders come to speak to their peers.
Speakers enjoy a complimentary pass to all three days of the AppForum (a value of up to $1295 per speaker) and are invited to attend all the sessions and networking events. They also receive a high-profile stage, industry recognition and the chance to share their expertise with a qualified audience. The AppForum is a unique event – independent, unbiased, focused on education and remarkably open. Qualified speakers are invited to submit proposals online.
Christopher Wright, Vice President of Business Development at Blue Sky ETO, summed up his reasons for speaking at AppForum by saying, “For me, the PODi AppForum is the ‘can’t miss’ industry event of the year.  I have attended the AppForum for 7 straight years, spoken 5 times, and I have presented success stories from Hilton Worldwide to Hallmark because I know I am going to receive in return as much as I give, if not more.  Peer interaction and camaraderie is second-to-none at the AppForum, and true best practices in digital print are shared.”
Both conference veterans and newcomers have found presenting to be a highly positive experience. Jessica Byerly, Marketing Director at PIP Printing and Marketing Services of the Triad, was a first time presenter in 2013 and described her experience by saying, “I had a wonderful experience at AppForum…The speakers were well cared for, and the sessions were well attended. My session had nearly 50 people in attendance; the staff and interns had everything ready for me the moment I walked in. Would love to speak again if given the opportunity!”
AppForum speakers represent companies who are winning with digital print – the frontline users and their marketing partners. Successful candidates have:
Unique, results-driven marketing or collateral management stories
Insight into emerging and future technologies
Strategic business or solution sales knowledge
Exceptional data or digital printing technical proficiencies
Experience with workflow automation or cloud technology
Expertise in new, profit-generating applications and services, including cross-media, direct marketing, web to print, digital packaging, transpromo, mobile, augmented reality or social media
Special consideration is given to marketers who, along with their service provider, share experience and successful case studies. In addition, PODi is interviewing Keynote Speakers and suggestions are welcome.
Session format is flexible and interactivity is encouraged, with panels, case studies, tutorials, hands-on and discussion groups, or research results. Regular sessions are a half-hour to an hour in length; pre-conference intensives are half-day sessions.
