Nowata Printing Company implements ProImage Press Register software.

New ProImage has today announced that the Nowata Printing Company, a newspaper and commercial printer with a reputation for high quality and rapid delivery, has implemented ProImage Press Register software.
“In order to print color in register our pressmen have been cocking plates on the bender for years, using a ‘Kentucky windage’ [see below] sort of system,” said Dusty Hicks, Prepress Manager. “The results achieved now, by using Press Register, are fantastic. Pressmen no longer need to cock the plates at the bender so it saves time and takes out the human error that was so prevalent before.”
Nowata Printing Company specializes in heatset and coldset web offset printing of newspapers, magazines, inserts, catalogs and flyers. It knows the cost of every aspect of its production, and has consistently invested in technology to improve efficiency and competitiveness.
In 2010 the company implemented ProImage OnColor ECO ink optimization software that, according to Gary Hensley, General Manager, saves the company more than 140,000 dollars per year.
