EDELMANN Printing Machines launches its new Fast-Paper Processor with a digital system at the Label Expo in Brussels

Thursday 15. August 2013 - Edelmann Printing Machines GmbH presents its new Fast Paper Processor (FPP) with a digital system for the first time at the Label Expo. The company, which now belongs to the Umur Group will present its innovation at booth S 90 in Hall 11.

The Fast Paper Processor with a safe web guide roll and mounted printing systems for digital printing is introduced in cooperation with the sales representative of Edelmann Printing Machines DG Italia in Brussels.
The latest development of Edelmann Printing Machines (Germany), which is being presented at the Label Expo, is the Fast Paper Processor (FPP) offline machine. A special feature of this system is that it can run at a speed of up to 500m/min. It is designed for web widths of 52/72/76 cm. The machine controls a stable web guide and can thus be used optimally for guiding offset printing into digital printing. It is possible to integrate any finishing components individually after the digital impression systems (punching, laminating, cutting etc.).
Only the digital printing systems have to be used before the printing can begin. The FPP is a future-oriented system, since the FPP can already run at a speed of 500 m/min, while the digital printing systems currently on the market can generally not run at such high speeds. If the digital print heads should also reach such speeds, then one would only need to exchange these, making the purchase of a completely new offline system unnecessary.
This supplements EPM’s range of limited production runs, e.g. the EVO-PRINT V43/52, COLOR-PRINT V52/72/76 or the WEB-PRINT 39. In addition, it is possible to acquire the flagship of the company, the STAR-PRINT V52/76. The printing machine is distinguished by the fact that it can be used as a format-variable offset and hybrid rotation printing machine with sleeve change system and bearer-ring technology for packaging and labels.
