DEVIN STOCKFISH NAMED CORPORATE SECRETARY AND ASSISTANT GENERAL COUNSEL FOR WEYERHAEUSER
Tuesday 30. July 2013 - Weyerhaeuser Company (NYSE: WY) today announced its board of directors has elected Devin Stockfish corporate secretary for the company. The appointment was effective July 1, 2013. Stockfish will continue to serve as assistant general counsel and his practice includes corporate governance, securities law compliance, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance matters.
Stockfish succeeds Claire Grace, who will remain assistant general counsel until her planned retirement on Aug. 16. Grace was Weyerhaeuser’s corporate secretary from 2000 to June 30, 2013.
“Since joining Weyerhaeuser in March of this year, Devin has proven himself to be a quick study who demonstrates extraordinary professionalism and brings a valuable set of skills and experience to the company,” said Sandy McDade, senior vice president and general counsel. “He is an outstanding addition to our leadership team.”
