Mobile phone case creation in less than three minutes while customers wait
Offers new level of personalisation to the mobile phone accessories market
Case Station, a company that uses and manages an IP portfolio that services the global ‘print on demand’ marketplace, is launching Nanopress – an in store 3D printing system for personalised mobile phone cases. This enables retailers to offer consumers a personalised case for their new mobile phone in three minutes – less than the time it takes to upgrade a mobile phone.
Enhancing both the retail environment and customer experience, Nanopress brings fast, easy and effective accessory personalisation to any retail store for the first time. With the on board CaseSite Print Manager software, users can choose any image and the press, using IP-protected heat transfer dye sublimation technology, will print it onto a premium mobile phone case.
With cases for more than 25 devices, Case Station has all the popular smartphone models covered, including the latest handsets such as Apple iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S4, Blackberry Z10 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
The Nanopress ensures a consistent, robust and top quality in-surface decoration. Case Station provides a full service solution with consumables and full partner support to ensure the standard of finish and the final product remains top quality throughout.
The size of a small office laser printer, installation of the Nanopress is straightforward. By virtue of its compact dimensions it can easily be displayed at front of house.
Peter Woodd, CEO of Case Station says, “To date, the opportunity for top quality personalisation of mobile accessories hasn’t existed in a retail store environment. The Nanopress changes that. Retailers can now take advantage of this opportunity, adding value to their customer experience while offering a point of difference to competitors. This is now being deployed globally.”
