Shutterstock Expands Focus on Northern Europe and Launches Site in Four New Languages: Danish, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish

(NYSE: SSTK), a leading global provider of high-quality stock photos, vectors, illustrations and video clips today announced translations into four new languages including Danish, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish. The announcement brings the total number of languages supported by Shutterstock to eighteen, and reflects increasing popularity of the image library in the northern European region.
“Shutterstock has thousands of customers in Scandinavia, and adding these languages will increase accessibility, provide a better user experience, and more effective search for image buyers across the region,” said Founder and CEO Jon Oringer. “We continue to deepen our penetration within key international markets, and language support is one of the ways Shutterstock is becoming more local,” added Oringer.

In celebration of this announcement, Shutterstock has curated lightboxes with beautiful images from, and inspired by, Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden.
