Cyangate, one of WoodWing´s Gold Partners who’s strongly focused on Elvis DAM, acquired a new customer from this sector. “Arnavutköy Belediyesi” is a municipality west of Istanbul (Turkey) with a population of more than 200.000. The administration will use the system to manage their media archive that consists of mainly photography and video content related to events in the area. They leverage the system not only to organize content but also to share it with news agencies and others. This allows the teams to have quick turnaround times for publicity around the events.

Arnavutköy Belediyesi is not the first Elvis DAM customer in the public sector in Turkey – the Turkish parliament has also been using the system for some time already. The media group of the Turkish parliament consists of the TV station Legislation TV as well as several publications and a photography division.
Among other purposes, Elvis DAM is used by the photographers to manage thousands and thousands of photos that are captured during the parliament sessions as well as many special events and visits by officials from other countries. These photos go through a detailed sign-off and selection process and are then shared with the parliament member offices as well as press. In execution of all this work, employees benefit greatly from the powerful features of Elvis DAM to organize, find, share and distribute their digital assets.
