Pharmapack Award for phial packaging from Edelmann
Wednesday 20. February 2013 - Edelmann has now also won the Pharmapack Award with its phial packaging for homoeopathic medicinal products from Weleda.
It is awarded annually as part of the French trade fair by the same name for pharmaceutical packaging solutions. It is already the third award that the leading manufacturer of board packaging has received for this folding carton concept.
Edelmann succeeded in winning the category “Ease of use & progress simplification”. The concept convinced the jury with its two-part, flat packaging that can be processed and filled automatically. For the manufacturer this means an economical and optimised production technique. The user receives simple and easy-to-handle packaging. The machine technology stems from partner Uhlmann Pac-Systeme.
The phial packaging had already won the European ProCarton/ECMA Award 2012 as well as the German Packaging Prize 2012 in autumn. Companies are awarded the Pharmapack Award for especially innovative packaging developments that support the safe application of medicinal products.
