TRESU Group presents enhanced ancillaries

The TRESU IMW Chamber Doctor Blade System is designed for water-, UV- and solvent based inks and coatings

Tuesday 19. February 2013 - for printing and coating applications at ICE Europe 2013

The TRESU Ancillary division of TRESU Group, a global supplier of flexo technology, introduces a range of chamber doctor blade systems for the packaging and label printing and coating situations.
Product highlights at the show include three chamber doctor blade systems. The TRESU IMW Chamber Doctor Blade System is designed for water-, UV- and solvent based inks and coatings. This system has been enhanced to include proprietary technology for controlling the pressure of foam-sensitive inks and coatings in the chamber. The pressurized ink or coating thus maintains a constant barrier between the chamber doctor blade and the rotating open anilox cells, preventing air-bubbles from entering the inside chamber.
The TRESU FlexiPrint Reservoir offers a way of economically applying UV-ink and coatings to the anilox roll without the need of a circulation pump. The system’s mechanical loading system ensures fast job change. The TRESU CPG Anti-Corrosion surface for chambers is a guard that offers surface protection of the chamber doctor blade system. Its aluminium and carbon fibre structure offers resistance against corrosive ink, coating and cleaning liquids. The guard is retrofittable to all TRESU chamber doctor blade systems with the TRESU D4 and D5 profiles.
The units can be used in combination with the patented P-Line clamping system, suited to widths up to 6000mm across and takes less than one minute to change blades.
All TRESU chamber doctor blade systems include TRESU´s patented Seals. They are available for any printing situation, flexible to suit all anilox roll sizes (from ø60mm to ø450mm), all doctor blade lengths, and all TRESU ink chambers. The seal eliminates the risk of leakage or spillage, by creating an airtight barrier. This also enables leftover ink to be stored for long periods, without evaporation or deterioration in quality.
Henrik Kristensen, sales director, TRESU Ancillary, says: “Our range of chamber doctor blade systems assure quality results at high print speeds and minimise make-ready time. TRESU is constantly working with leading flexo, offset and coating press manufacturers to develop adapted chamber and ink and coating supply solutions that seamlessly fit into any press design.”
TRESU has partnerships with several of the world’s leading flexo and offset press makers, developing a wide range of auxiliary products for narrow-, mid- and wide-web printing and coating situations. The company has also recently launched TRESU Webshop, so customers can order original ancillary and spare parts as well as consumables directly and at highly competitive prices with authenticity guaranteed.
