Smart Farm Technologies to Show iSys Label Products at Propack Africa 2013
Friday 01. February 2013 - Smart Farm Technologies, South African reseller of the EDGE 850 and APEX 1290, has announced that they will be exhibiting in Hall 7, Stand G14 at the Propack Africa show held March 12-15th, 2013 at the Expo Centre in Johannesburg.
“South Africa is an emerging market. As it is an emerging market with a lot of new businesses opening they will need labels in small quantities. As consumers recognize you by the label of your product, having labels that are high quality and cost effective is key to promotion for any new business. One of the difficulties of breaking into the digital labeling industry is the misconception that it requires a huge capital investment. Developed for the short run label production market, the EDGE 850 can print on a variety of die-cut, kiss-cut or roll substrates. This innovative label press is easy to operate using the EDGE2Print software and an auto adjusting form synchronization rewinder system, allowing operations to stage a job in minutes so you can say goodbye to ordering huge quantities of pre-printed labels. Designed for in-house production of labels, users will be capable of printing 2000 labels in less than 20 minutes and have the finished roll ready for immediate application.
In addition to the EDGE 850, Smart Farm Technologies will also be showcasing the APEX 1290, a digital label printer for short to mid run production. Designed with the user in mind, the APEX 1290 gives you the power to do more in less time. With media print widths ranging from 3″ to 12.9″ wide, users can print, slit and rewind 28,000 production-worthy labels in less than 37 minutes.
