Trinity Mirror investment in Local World

Wednesday 09. January 2013 - Further to the announcement made on 21 November 2012 regarding the exchange of contracts to acquire a 20% equity interest in Local World Limited ('Local World'), Trinity Mirror plc today confirms completion of the transaction.

The investment was completed with effect from 30 December 2012 in line with the terms outlined in the announcement of the 21 November 2012.
