Monday 31. December 2012 - English Edition of Working Folder Available for Large-Scale Use
Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. will start offering enhanced Working Folder, a cloud-based online document sharing service with monthly charge, on September 28. Enhanced functions include English user interface, increased number of registered users, and the expansion of maximum capacity.
Launched on December 12, 2011, Working Folder enables users to send, receive and share documents at offices or mobile environments, allowing them to access information anytime, anywhere. It contributes to seamless utilization and distribution of documents that are used in group work within an organization or between corporations, facilitating collaborations to achieve swift decision-making and enhanced business efficiency.
Facilitates use in global business
Working Folder could be used only in a Japanese environment, but users can now choose the language between Japanese and English on the user interface. Amid ongoing globalization of businesses, it helps customers effectively communicate and share English-based information.
Offering a more organizational, large-scale environment
To offer users a more organizational, large-scale environment, the number of users who can be registered in Cabinet, where users store and share folders and files, has been increased from 100 to 500, and the storage capacity of Cabinet has been expanded from 100 to 500 gigabytes. The size of each file that can be uploaded has also been increased from 100 to 500 megabytes . Further, the compatibility with Mac OS, a new feature, enables to upload large creative work files, such as audio and video files as well as artwork.

Allows the registration and removal of multiple users all at once by specifying a CSV format file, while users needed to be registered one by one with the previous version.
Limits access using IP addresses to improve security and to support administrators’ operation and management work in a more organizational, large-scale environment.
