REGULUS Canvas “Made in Europe”

Wednesday 12. December 2012 - With five versions of high-quality Fine Art Canvas, Regulus is now offering the complete product spectrum for professional art and photo reproduction.

With the materials that have been chosen, Regulus has forged completely new paths which guarantee sustainable and consistent quality. The canvases are woven at modern weaving mills in Europe, a fact which ensures that European standards regarding work safety and environmental protection are adhered to. This also applies to the rest of the manufacturing process and especially to the well-tested coating at Regulus in Erlangen.
For water-based printing the user can choose between two cotton fabrics of differing weave, texture and grammage. In addition to the pure cotton fabric, for solvent, eco-solvent and latex printing, two mixed fabrics made of cotton and polyester are available: either in brilliant white or in a natural coloured surface look. Other criteria taken into consideration during the development of the product were plasticity when stretching the canvas on the frame, a balanced and clearly visible fabric structure, the natural finish on the back of the canvas and the excellent quality printing results
