EAM-Mosca Introduces New ROMP-6 Evolution Strapping System for a Broad Range of Packaging Applications
Friday 16. November 2012 - EAM-Mosca Corp. is pleased to introduce the ROMP-6 Evolution, the newest generation of Mosca strapping equipment. According to Ralph Morini, President, "The Evolution brings innovative technology, high performance and improved economy to Mosca's proven strapping machine portfolio."
The innovative Evolution sealer is built on the brushless DC motor technology which is an original Mosca innovation. Its simplified mechanics are proven to reduce noise, wear, lubrication and maintenance requirements. Moving elements are designed with sealed bearings in an open lever style construction that eliminates sensitivity to dust and dirt, reducing cleaning needs to a minimum. The ROMP-6 Evolution is equipped with either a thermostatically controlled heat seal or Mosca’s patented Sonixs, an ultrasonic welding technology.
The refined ROMP-6 Evolution design includes side or front coil loading for convenient changeover, push-button strap threading, and a fully enclosed strap feed track for exceptionally reliable feeding. It has a compact cabinet that requires a minimum of space. A 180 degree rotatable operator panel combined with the optional 2nd foot bar provides convenient front and rear operation.
The new Evolution offers a range of arch sizes, and can apply economical polypropylene strapping in widths of 5mm to 12 mm at speeds of up to 52 cycles per minute. The external tension adjustment includes a “soft tension” feature for delicate products. The machine is highly portable, riding on two fixed and two lockable heavy duty casters.
ROMP-6 Evolution is designed for improved performance, ease of use, and is built to last. It is the smartest choice for high-performance strapping applications where superior reliability matters.
