North Print & Pack 2013 continues to attract new exhibitors
Thursday 25. October 2012 - Informa Exhibitions, organisers of North Print & Pack 2013, today announces that the event's wider industry focus has sparked a wave of interest amongst new and existing exhibitors, with eleven key industry suppliers having confirmed its attendance for the first time.
The latest exhibitors who have confirmed their attendance include: ABG International, Alphasonics, Flexo Wash UK Ltd, Flint Group, GEW UV, Herma UK, IFS, Nilpeter, Rotametrics and Teknek.
“We are delighted with the response from the industry and are seeing a lot of interest – not only to exhibit at North Print & Pack next year, but also from key associations like the EFIA getting involved,” comments Mary Buck, Sales Manager. “The market has a real appetite for packaging, and this is clearly growing as print service providers look to widen their service offering. With North Print & Pack 2013 in Harrogate close to the heart of North West England’s packaging landscape, it will focus on the need for all PSP’s to add value to their business, evolve and embrace a changing market.
ABG International, Alphasonics, Flint Group, Herma, Nilpeter, Rotometrics and Teknek will present its solutions on a joint stand, ‘Label City’. Matt Burton, Sales Executive at ABG International, says: “As a new addition to North Print & Pack 2013, Label City will showcase the latest materials, inks, presses and finishing solutions for the labelling market. The show offers a unique opportunity for us to share an exhibition space to provide visitors with a one stop shop for all their label needs.”
Nick Hughes, Managing Director at Nilpeter Ltd, adds: “We see North Print & Pack 2013 as a fantastic opportunity to support a UK print and packaging show, and meet new potential customers.”
North Print & Pack 2013 will see the return of working presses for the first time since 2007. Printers Superstore has already confirmed that it will showcase its flagship GH525 Automated B3 5 Colour offset and Shinohara B2 and B1 format presses on its stand.
“It is an exciting opportunity for us to showcase our offset presses to as many companies as possible at North Print & Pack 2013,” comments Graham Moorby, Joint Managing Director, Printers Superstore. “We firmly believe that ‘seeing is believing’ and printers owe it to themselves and their businesses to come to events like this to see the full spectrum of products on offer. It is important in today’s tough commercial world that companies take time out to come and see what’s new and what’s happening, speak to suppliers and find out what’s there to help them, as it could help stimulate ideas or look at ways that products like ours can help to make our customers more competitive and increase those important margins! North Print & Pack 2013 is an exciting opportunity that in our opinion progressive businesses cannot afford to miss.”
Intelligent Finishing Systems (IFS), a North Print & Pack 2013 bellwether, will once again be showcasing its latest finishing solutions on the show floor. Bryan Godwyn, Joint Managing Director, IFS, sees a great benefit to visiting and exhibiting at the event: “We believe that the North Print & Pack 2013 venue, timing and programme will challenge any printer, however small or large, and help them consider their business and the direction it should head in. The market is changing faster than ever before and businesses need to carefully select their customers and suppliers while focussing on their aspirations. Attending North Print & Pack 2013 will help them in this quest.”
Mary Buck concludes: “We are 300% up compared to where we were at this stage in the 2011 sales cycle, which is a great testament to the print and packaging communities’ commitment to North Print & Pack. As print continues to play a vital role as part of the contemporary marketing mix, we look forward to deliver an event that will offer the widest variety of everything that print has to offer.”
