Color Confidence exhibits FFEI Packaging Portfolio at Packaging Innovations 2012
Thursday 04. October 2012 - Color Confidence is exhibiting FFEI's RealVue 3D Packager for the first time at Packaging Innovations 2012 at the Business Design Centre, Islington, on 4-5 October (stand GB1). Color Confidence is also showcasing a number of other solutions including a preview of FFEI's RealPro Toolkit software, a UK debut.
According to Simon Prais, Technical Director at Color Confidence, there has been significant interest in RealVue 3D Packager prior to the show, with customers impressed by the software’s ease of use, low cost and extensive feature set:
“Feedback from brand-owners, design agencies and packaging printers has been extremely positive, expressing how this solution addresses the challenges of creative packaging design, for which, there had not been any ideal solutions to date. A key highlight has been the simple intuitive interface that integrates within the user’s workflow, providing a tool that can be used as required, from design concept and presentation, through to that of an accurate print-production verification tool.”
Color Confidence recently became the UK distributor for RealVue 3D Packager at drupa 2012 and exhibits the product for the first time at this year’s Packaging Innovations. RealVue 3D Packager won the Lions Lair award for most innovative new product in 2010 when previously exhibited by FFEI. On demonstration this year is the latest RealVue 3D Packager V1.2, which rapidly converts 2D artwork and cutter guides from Adobe Illustrator into high quality 3D visuals that can be delivered to customers in a fully interactive portable format.
Also debuting on the stand is FFEI’s RealPro Toolkit, a UK first following initial previews at drupa this year. RealPro Toolkit provides a comprehensive suite of packaging pre-press tools via a set of tightly integrated Adobe Illustrator plug-ins. Features such as nesting, trapping, ink management and advanced editing tools provide automation, scalability and flexibility to cope with a wide variety of packaging jobs such as flexibles, labelling and carton board.
A fully functional pre-release demo of the product will be available on the stand and FFEI will be working with Colour Confidence to identify UK field trial sites for the product.
