Océ opens door to Artisan Signs to win new business
Tuesday 18. September 2012 - As part of its15-year celebrations, Artisan Signs has invested in a UV curable flatbed printing system from Océ, which is part of the Canon Group of companies.
Called an Océ Arizona 550 XT, it is the top-of-the-range model from the world’s No. 1 selling UV flatbed family.
The system offers super-productive print modes that enable forward-thinking companies such as Artisan Signs to offer a broader range of products and services. It produces near-photographic image quality images including perfect text as small as 6pt.
The printing can be done on just about any surface, for instance directly on to wood, doors, irregularly shaped objects or non square media! An additional benefit is dramatically improving print capacity for Artisan Signs.
Dominic Fahy, Business Group Director, Océ UK’s Display Graphics and Imaging Supplies, said: “These systems set the standard in the market for quality. Most importantly, they can help create new innovative applications to drive new business and realise cost savings through productivity improvements.
“The way to prosper in the current market is for forward-thinking companies to invest. And Artisan Signs is one of the companies who will benefit from being able to offer more products and services.”
