Tecco, innovation leader and trend setter in the market for photo, fine art and proofing media, shows special art at photokina (Cologne, September 18th to 23rd, hall 4.1, booth E030/E038). For many years now and according to their motto: »Tecco – Committed To Art« the premium paper specialist opens a gallery and presents art work by the internationally renowned star photographer Fabio Borquez – which were professionally shot using a smartphone. All photos of the models were taken in a studio or on location using professional lighting equipment.
Backgroundinformation According to their motto »Committed To Art« Tecco has supported many artists in the past years among them Yuri Dojc, one of Canada ?s most famous photographers, Ruth Marcus, a renowned German Animal photographer and Barbara Dombrowski, known for her photos of the Buena Vista Social Club. The art work of Ruth Marcus und Barbara Dombrowski were featured at the photokina shows in 2008 und 2010 and presented in Tecco ?s gallery.

About Fabio Borquez Fabio Borquez, born 1964 in Argentina, studied art, photography and architecture in Buenos Aires. Various scholarships led him to India, Columbia and Germany. Since 2001 he lives in Neuss near Duesseldorf. Next to title pages in many internationally renowned magazines, e.g. Playboy, GQ, vanity fair, Stern and Photographie, he also published books, among them »Chicas« (2008) and »Erotic Wonderland« (2011). His new book »Naked Soul« is expected in 2013.
