In two years you have an appointment with ExpoPrint Latin America 2014
Wednesday 18. July 2012 - ExpoPrint Latin America, the largest graphic event of the Americas, will held its new edition from July 16th to 22nd 2014 in Sao Paulo, ie, exactly two years from now, keeping its objective of guiding the graphic market between Drupas.
ExpoPrint Latin America brings together the largest manufacturers of the printing industry worldwide in the segments of prepress, commercial printing, promotional publishing, digital printing, transpromotional, finishing, packaging and direct marketing.
The success of its first two editions (2006 and 2010) is already reflected in the 2014 event, which already has 80% of its space sold two years before its opening. Another fact is that in 2014 there will be seven (not five) pavilions in the fair, totaling an area of 40 000 square meters to receive more than 45,000 buyers from various countries.
For Sandra Keese, director of APS Feiras e Eventos, organizer and promoter of ExpoPrint Latin America 2014, the number of stands already sold reflects directly on the volume of visitors who will come to Sao Paulo to the fair.
“Brazil will be one of the main countries in the world in 2014. In addition to our economic growth, in 2014 we will have the World Cup Football, and, in 2016, the Olympic Games. This will attract the eyes of the world to Brazil and also result in an increase in the volume of graphic business. We also anticipate a significant increase in visitation from other foreign countries outside Latin America, as Brazil, alongside China and India, is one of the engines of the new global economy”, said Sandra.
The disclosure of the event for foreigners was reinforced with the presentation of ExpoPrint Latin America at Drupa 2012 in a press conference held by Afeigraf (Association of Manufacturers and Agents for Equipments and Supplies of the Brazilian Graphic Industry), director of ExpoPrint, and APS and Feiras e Eventos. Visitors from Brazil, Latin America and from all five continents who have been to Germany found important information about the fair and also about the growing Brazilian economy.
“Never a Latin American event had as much visibility as a major international trade fair as ExpoPrint at Drupa 2012”, said Ismael Guarnelli, director of APS Feiras e Eventos.
According to data from Drupa, as disclosed by Messe Dusseldorf, ExpoPrint Latin America occupies the 5th place as the world’s largest graphic trade show. This post comes with the excellent performance of Brazil in the international market. In 2010, the country was the third largest buyer of machinery, behind only China and India, respectively.
