LFP - Large-Format-Printing

Cisco Partner Summit 2012

Tuesday 10. July 2012 - This is the 5th consecutive year Super Color Digital has teamed with Jaguar Design Studio to create display and event graphics for the Cisco Partner Summit, which this year was held at the San Diego Convention Center.

Objective:
Each year the goal is to create a look and feel that is unique to the venue and unique to Cisco, and this year was no exception. The San Diego Convention Center is roughly 1.1 million total square feet of brand-able space. Because the project required all main halls and entrances to be branded in a variety of ways, the scope of work was large – just the way we like it!
Implementation:
When dealing with unique spaces, there is no standard modus operandi, so everything had to be carefully considered and reviewed to ensure that the client’s vision and our execution was perfectly aligned.
Printing Solutions:
Our team of project managers, CAD designers, production, kitting and fulfillment crew worked for over 200 hours to complete the project on time.
Super Color Digital used everything from fabric, fabric frames, gator, sintra, decal and vinyl to achieve the desired look and feel the client was striving for. All branding was printed on our Vutek GS5000 and FabriVu printers.
Installation:
The entire venue installation was completed in less than 4 days.
Challenges:
The challenge for this year and all years is to help the client understand what limitations (if any) there may be and to help them bring an idea to fruition. With new venue comes new printing challenges and the need to customize keeping in mind the scope, timing and space challenges.
