OfficeMax Receives 2011 JDA Real Results Award for Best in Demand Management
Wednesday 04. May 2011 - OfficeMax Incorporated (NYSE: OMX), a leader in office supplies and services, has been recognized as a JDA Software Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: JDAS) 2011 Real Results Winner for Best in Demand Management.
Now in its sixth year, the Real Results Awards recognize companies that have demonstrated business-process excellence and achieved quantifiable benefits through the adoption of industry best practices and use of JDA’s industry-leading solutions and services. OfficeMax was honored at FOCUS 2011, JDA’s annual user conference in Orlando, Florida, May 1 – 4, 2011.
OfficeMax focuses its supply chain on understanding – and managing – consumer demand. Leveraging both JDA solutions and services, OfficeMax has used greater forecast accuracy to reduce inventory while improving customer service levels.

Selected by a panel of JDA executives, the Real Results winners demonstrated exceptional increases in sales and profits, business-process improvements and reductions in inventory and overall costs. Representatives from OfficeMax will present the Company’s success story during FOCUS 2011, providing attendees with insights into their supply chain accomplishments in their award category.
